The difficult 2nd blog!

Hey guys!
So after some feedback I am feeling pretty good! (Thanks to my Sister from another mother and Mustard 😊)

I got to thinking about how often I should update the blog, daily may be a bit too much, if you wanna be that bored on a daily basis then my twitter is @John7Kennedy (expect plenty of hockey tweetage)
So anyway, I decided I would have a weekly update every Monday with sporadic posts of random randomness! I feel that way I can express myself as and when whilst a weekly post will encourage me to stick to a deadline

If you do read and have anything to add/ask/criticise then feel free to comment or tweet me I would love to hear from you!

Till next time

A little late to the party...

Hi there I'm Crespo :-)
I've been aware of blogging for ages without actually knowing, well anything about it! However more and more lately I have been looking to share my thoughts and Twitter's 140 characters is insufficient and Facebook is like being back in the playground!

So here I am at 6:47am on January 9th 2014 composing my first blog entry, will anyone read it? If I'm honest I am not too fussed if not I just need an outlet for the nonsense that occupies the space between my ears!

I've just finished a soul destroying night shift and after catching the NYR highlights (beat the Blackhawks 3-2! Woo!) I started watching The Perks of Being a Wallflower, it has been sat on my Nexus for about a month and I have been meaning to watch it for ages! I truly loved it, not only did I really enjoy the plot, I was drawn in by the score. To me music in film is hugely important, the right song at the right moment can transform a good scene into a great scene, an ok film into an exceptional film. A great score can make the film an experience rather than just pictures on a screen.

Music is such a massive part of my life, one of my favourite times of the day is the walk to/from work as my headphones go in and I slip off to another world. I try and have a playlist for any mood so I don't have to fuss about changing tracks all the time! Playlist... The mixtape of the 21st century. There is a quote I love from High Fidelity (now there is a film that uses music perfectly!)
"The making of a great compilation tape, like breaking up is hard to do. It takes ages longer than it might seem. You gotta kick it off with a killer to grab attention. Then you gotta take it up a notch. But you don't want to blow your wad. So then you gotta cool it off a notch. There are a lot of rules."
This is so true, a mix tape/CD/Playlist, whether for another person(romantically or not) or purely personal use is not just a few cool tracks but an expression of feeling, a great playlist can lift your spirits if you are down, if shared with another it can present your feelings better than any words ever could.

I am not sure if this is too long or too short but it seemed like the place to end so I hope I didn't bore you too much!
(If you are one of the folks I asked to read this then thanks for reading and I really would appreciate your honest opinion)

Till next time
